Raising $1M for a modern American Legion Post & Community Center: Jerome B. Houston American Legion Post 150: "The Bryant 150"

4 QUARTERS FOR QUARTERS

Uniting to Build a Vibrant Community Building for Veterans.

Join the Movement: 4 Quarters for Quarters Campaign

Join us in honoring our heroes through the "4 Quarters for Quarters" campaign—an inspiring initiative dedicated to raising $1 million for a Modern American Legion Post in Saline County. This campaign offers everyone the opportunity to contribute just $1, making a powerful impact. If you or your family have been blessed by a veteran, your donation can help create a vibrant and welcoming community space.

Our Vision for the New American Legion Post

The new facility will be much more than a building—it will be a cornerstone for the community. It is designed to host a military museum, a versatile conference hall, a dedicated resource center for veterans and active-duty service members, and a youth center for recreation and community gatherings. Our goal is to establish a space where visitors and locals can come together, enjoy camaraderie, and connect with military veterans.

Serving Veterans, Families, and the Community

The American Legion building will act as a multifaceted community hub, supporting veterans through dedicated groups, job fairs, VA benefit workshops, educational programs, health clinics, and mental health awareness events. These initiatives will foster overall well-being. Additionally, the facility will be available for local schools and organizations to host community events, cultural celebrations, and holiday gatherings, helping to strengthen community ties.

A Lasting Legacy of Support, Education, and Unity

This new space will be a warm and inviting place of support, education, and unity for all. It will ensure that our veterans and their families are celebrated and cared for, while also welcoming visitors from near and far. Through this campaign, we aim to create a lasting legacy that honors our heroes and provides ongoing community support.

The Meaning Behind "4 Quarters for Quarters"

The name "4 Quarters for Quarters" is both memorable and meaningful. It plays on the dual significance of "quarters": the four quarters that make up a dollar, and the concept of providing "quarters" or meeting spaces for veterans and community members. By donating just four quarters—one dollar—you contribute directly to creating meaningful spaces within the new building. The catchy rhyme and visual of quarters make the campaign easy to remember and share, encouraging widespread participation.

How You Can Make a Difference"

Small contributions collectively support the development of a multi-purpose space that serves veterans, families, and visitors, fostering unity and shared purpose. If you have a family member who has served, now is the time to show your appreciation. Donate your 4 Quarters for Quarters today to help create a legacy of gratitude, pride, and community support.

Every dollar counts. By uniting the country in this simple commitment, we can reach our goal quickly. Join us now—every quarter matters. Donate today and be part of building a brighter future for our veterans and our community!
